“Both SVCC ELC and OSHC have provided an immense support in caring for our children over the years with the before and after care.
In particular with before ELC and after ELC care at OSHC, I've leant on them right from when our children were 3 years of age and they still continue to attend after school care during school week, and in the school holidays. Morning care is also an option if needed though.
OSHC provides engaging activities, a dedicated space to unwind, as well as taking into consideration young children’s needs. For example, health concerns such as food allergies or medication, or assistance to the toilet for the little ones. I've also taken comfort in knowing that our kids are well looked after, as there are some staff from ELC that work at OSHC also, which has been a blessing to have that already established relationship with the children.
Another positive with OSHC, is that friendships between children are often easier to build upon, as they already attend the same school too. So from the child's social aspect, you can have 'peace of mind' that there is a familiar face and someone to share their time with.
OSHC staff always do their best to accommodate families when a booking availability is requested while attending ELC. Don't hesitate to reach out and ask the friendly staff at OSHC if you have any questions or concerns, as they are always happy to help.”

“We have sent all 3 of our children to SVCC ELC. My eldest started there from day 1 and had a beautiful transition to Foundation.
My middle child is currently going through his mid year transition and my youngest is absolutely loving her 3 days a week at ELC.
The educators are fantastic, they genuinely care for the children and go above and beyond. My children always come home raving about the fun they have, the friends they’ve made & all the things they have learnt including how to speak Spanish.
I cannot fault anything and we are so happy with our choice to send all 3 of our children to SVCC ELC. We have never had issues with our children not wanting to go – they always want to go and I think that speaks volumes about how safe they feel there!
We are so grateful and truly believe it has been such a wonderful start to their learning!”

“The ELC provided a calm and safe space for our girls to grow in confidence and curiosity.
The natural spaces cultivated their creativity, spurred on by the warm and caring staff.
We loved how the girls were encouraged to pursue their own interests and how the natural environment was frequently used as a learning tool.
They loved their time at the ELC and we’re glad we made this investment in their early education.”

“My son Bobby went to ELC for his Kindy year. I wanted a kindy that would progress into Primary School so that he would have an established social foundation for his transition.
This was my third childcare for Bobby and I only wish I had found ELC sooner. Bobby’s separation anxiety quickly disappeared at ELC. 20-minute drop offs of tears from previous centres quickly transformed into 5min kiss and go with a wave and a smile.
Bobby felt safe and loved and allowed him to thrive. The relationships he built with his teachers will forever be memorable.
The communication I had with Juliana was prompt and warming. The teachers always had time to talk with me about Bobby and his day. The centre always felt organised and inviting and a place for little minds to explore and grow.
A centre I feel blessed to have been a part of.”

“My husband and I feel so blessed to be a part of the Southern Vales ELC family.
The educators and staff are exceptionally kind, patient and considerate - they excel at making all children feel welcomed, included and respected.
Both our children have thrived in the nurturing and caring environment”

“Our wonderful journey at ELC started through the regular stay and play sessions (Family Playtime) where parents and their little ones where invited to come along and experience life at ELC for the morning allowing the children to explore the beautifully created outdoor area, we were instantly welcomed with such warmth from all the educators I knew this was a setting I wanted Rylee to be in as I could see how comfortable he was in his surroundings and the instant trust I felt from the staff.
We started with a part -time enrolment at ELC but it wasn’t long before we increased this to full time hours as Rylee loved it so much.
The interaction & understanding between Rylee and the staff has created a beautiful relationship which he still talks of today his ELC journey has helped him create beautiful memories and wonderful friendships.
What started as shy three-year-old who struggled with separation progressed to a young boy that was filled with so much confidence, happiness and knowledge. It’s been amazing watching his growth and his easy transition into foundation.
We cannot thankyou enough for the love, support and care you have provided us a family over the years.”
